Four Shot, One Critical, in Birmingham Nightclub Incident; Three Arrested
Birmingham, UK – Four people have been shot at a Birmingham nightclub in the early hours of Saturday morning, leaving one person in a critical condition and prompting the swift arrest of three individuals.
West Midlands Police confirmed the incident occurred at Mango nightclub on Bristol Street at approximately 3 AM. One man remains in hospital receiving critical care, while two other men and a woman are being treated for less serious injuries.
A short time after the shooting, three people – described as being in their 20s and 30s – were arrested from a car on the M6 in Warwickshire. They currently remain in police custody on suspicion of violent disorder as the investigation continues.
The incident unfolded in a busy nightclub situated on one of the main roads leading out of Birmingham city centre, raising concerns about safety in popular nightlife areas.
Investigators from West Midlands Police are appealing for witnesses and anyone with information to come forward urgently. They are particularly keen to speak to anyone who was inside Mango nightclub at the time and saw what happened, or who may have recorded any footage from inside the venue.
