Witnesses have described disturbing final moments, reporting that the man appeared to 'bow down' and pray before the animal just moments before the fatal attack.

According to accounts from the scene, the man entered the enclosure and initially sat beside the tiger, appearing to take selfies. Witnesses stated that he then got onto the floor with his arms wide open, seemingly attempting to interact with the animal in a prayer-like posture, before the tiger attacked.

Disturbing footage capturing parts of the incident has since circulated on Facebook.

Emergency services rushed to the attraction at 1:35 PM on Saturday. An air ambulance, along with two land ambulances, was dispatched to the scene, but tragically, the man could not be saved.

In the wake of the tragedy, the park was swiftly evacuated, and management made the decision to keep the facility closed to the public throughout the entire weekend.

Park officials released a statement expressing profound grief over the event. Staff members, who witnessed the harrowing episode, have been described as, "deeply affected", and are currently receiving specialist psychological support.

Confirming the fate of the animal, park representatives stated that the tiger involved will not be put to death, recognizing that the animal was acting on natural instinct within its territory.

Authorities are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding how the man managed to breach the enclosure.
